On the blog now, a piece on the art of Janet Macolm. Malcolm is primarily known as a journalist--she's someone to look up in her own right. (Her book on Plath and Ted Hughes, "The Silent Woman," is a brilliant piece of work...) I liked this piece a) as an example of good, clear, art writing and b) as a piece of design--the images really pop. Enjoy
